On a producing placement as part of her bachelors degree, Akshita was on placement with the Royal Court Theatre in London for 3 months, to learn more about community engagement and data visualisation, supporting the KCW Project, she took on the role of Temporary Supporting Community Engagement Liaison, where Akshita researched for the project, was point of contact for schools and other arts groups for whom this project was created for. She also completed a placement with Collage Arts in London for 2 months, to learn more about community engagement and creative charity organisations, supporting a variety of different programs, for a variety of ages, in a supporting artist capacity; with upcoming productions, ongoing performance arts training and she stayed inquisitive about how all of this comes to be!
