South Asian Heritage Event
An evening of creative sharings on and around South Asian experiences, history, culture and art.
For this, Zarshaa Ismail (she/her) and Akshita shared a stylised improvised performance art piece on the brown experience, covering topics of skin, racism, unconcious bias, body hair, romance, social groupings, food, stereotypes, friendshups and what it means to talk through it, to continue being anti-racist, anti-colonialist and prioritise love, care and equality.
