An eerie new writing play examining Earth through a comparative lens of a parallel Earth, one which was overrun by technology, climate crises and an empathy emergency. Two main characters, one technologically advanced human and one parental AI, tell the story of how greed, catastrophe and social decline exacerbated the different demographic variables into further oppression, and now, when space-time travel has finally become possible, the only thing that truly ever mattered, was human connection.
Performed in Studio 8 during RBC Symposium Festival 2023, The Curse of Being a Pisces enjoyed a spirited audience, making the interactive aspects of this show especially engaging and lively.
